W hat we know from the data is that the divorce rate exceeds 50%. What's more, as you move from one marriage to the next, each time, the divorce rate increases.
So, this means that by and large, people do not have the skills to make their relationship extraordinary. WhenI wrote Hard Married, I laid the book out into 4 sections, Create, Build, Maintain and Expand your ideal relationship. What is great about that is that you can jump into any section, depending on what you are hoping to focus on. Further, each chapter stands alone. What that means is that even within a section, you can focus on just one chapter. I wrote the book so that it flows, but that does not mean you have to read it cover to cover. If you are having a breakdown, start there with the chapter, "Breakdowns Lead to Breakthroughs."
The book is one you will pick up again and again as your relationship goes along. We find that we revisit some of the conversations in a new unit of time and apply the ideas with new insight.
